The rumoured under $65 phone from Xiaomi

Xiaomi is apparently working on an inexpensive smartphone with 4G LTE capabilities. Gizchina sources states that this smartphone will cost 399 yuan, which is equivalent to Rs 4,000 or $65 and shall create a new competition in the entry segment smartphone range around the world.

Getting to know about Xiaomi rumoured Cheapest Phone

The Chinese firm known as China's Apple had invested in a chipmaker named LeadCore recently and its chipset shall potentially be sported on rumoured Xiaomi smartphone. Chinese manufacturer Leadcore doesn’t have the same pull to it as the bigger names like Qualcomm or Mediatek when it comes to SoC processors but it seems the cash infusion shall turn the tables! Perhaps if the phone is released, this is going to be the cheapest phone in the world based on the configuration mentioned.

Processor & RAM: LC180 chipset (from Leadcore) is said to use 2GHz Cortex-A7 cores alongside Mali T628 GPU and 1GB RAM. Mali T628 can support up to 2K displays and help cameras record up to 1080p videos

Display: The rumoured phone will come with  720p display. As far as the processor is concerned, Xiaomi is said to have invested in a company called Leadcore, which makes ultra-affordable chipsets. The LC180 chipset is said to use 2GHz Cortex-A7 cores alongside Mali T628 GPU

Storage: Perhaps 8 GB is the speculative number which should be upgradable upto 32 GB
Camera: No specs revealed yet

General Observation & Verdict

Xiaomi  rumored phone  with 1GB RAM, HD, LTE for INR 4000 or $65 is going to start rat race across all players.
