Skoda has recently introduced Kodiaq SUV at a function in Berlin. This SUV was first showcased at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show as the Vision S concept and will go on sale in early 2017. Do you know this SUV is named after a species of brown bear, the Kodiaq. This is going to be second SUV after YETI that shall be launched by house of Skoda in India.

1) The Kodiaq is about 4,697mm long, 1,882mm wide and 1,676mm tall. Its wheelbase measures 2,791 mm, giving it decent interior room for seven occupants. The vehicle is based on VW Group’s MQB platform which features a lot of lightweight chassis components.
2) The Kodiaq adheres to traditional Skoda look due to its lines that are clear, precise and clean cut. SUV sports highly recessed shoulder line and comes with wide three-dimensional grille along with raked headlights, which flow into the grille, give the Kodiaq a distinctive appearance.

4) Kodiaq is loaded with top notch features such as optional tri-zone climate control which has its own control panel for the rear seats, a fabric/leather combination or Alcantara upholstery, AppleCarPlay /Android Auto, ambient lighting, WiFi hotspot and multiple cameras for a 180 degree view.
5) The European models will also get auto brake, tow assist and lane departure warning.
6) Kodiaq SUV will come in Five engine options – two TDI and three TSI engines.
