Tata has been quite aggressive with Hatchback & SUV Car segment in recent times and riding high due to its success in form of Tiago, Bolt, Zest and upcoming Hexa (yet to be launched). However Tata is also eyeing Sub Compact-SUV zone with its upcoming car – Tata Nexon which is going under some serious testing across the country.

10 Key Things To Know About Tata Nexon
1) Tata Nexon was first unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo.
2) Nexon's design inspiration has been taken from the Range Rover Evoque.
3) The spy images of the car divulge new production tail lamps which come with U-shaped LED lights along with a rear bumper (plastic cladded) and LED lights for the number plate housing.
4) Nexon is a sub-4 metre compact SUV, and measures about 3995 mm in length and has a ground clearance of 200 mm.
5) Nexon is extremely stylish and the interiors is enthused from the Tata Zest and will come with Tata's signature three-spoke steering wheel along with entirely new dashboard.
6) Nexon will also feature new horizontally-profiled AC vents, stylish instrument cluster and rotary controls for the HVAC system.
7) Nexon is most likely to be powered by 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel motor.
8) Transmission options of Nexon may sport a 5-speed manual and F-Tronic AMT on the diesel version.
9) Nexon is likely to be priced between ₹ 6 lakh to ₹ 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
