Honda WR-V is a newest compact crossover in India that is scheduled to launch on 16th of March. It is built on the Jazz platform, but comes with new fashioning, features, ground clearance etc. This car from Honda will compete directly with likes of Hyundai i20 elite, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra KUV, Fiat Avventura and Suzuki S-cross. Key 10 Things to Know About Honda WRV
1. WRV is the new crossover from Honda which will be priced INR 65,000 more than the Jazz and will offers better ground clearance, body cladding and even roof rails and comes with six colour options i.e. Premium Amber, White Orchid, Golden Brown, Carmelian Red, Alabaster Silver and Modern Steel.
2. WRV sports a muscular looks and hence it resembles more like an SUV than a crossover.
3. The interiors of WRV is plush and showcases the dashboard which is similar to the Jazz and is sporty. It comes with two colour options: a) black and silver b) bluish grey.

4. Instrument cluster features three dials, one for speedometer, tachometer and driver information system along with keyless entry, push start and stop, touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, dual airbags and even ABS.
5. The cruise control and push start and stop features will be available only on the diesel top-end model, VX.
6. The infotainment system comes loaded with HDMI, MirrorLink, 2 USB and SD card slots.
7. In term of spacing, WRV will not disappoint you – ample boot space of 360 litres and amazing knee room and head room for the rear passengers.
8. However only down side – it does not have rear AC vent, which can be an issue in summer.
9. The WRV comes in two engine variants - 1.2-litre petrol/ 1.5-litre diesel offering 87bhp/100bhp and 115Nm/200Nm respectively by 5-speed/6-speed manual gearbox which suits both city and highway drives. Also note diesel engine even gets a lambda sensor – that checks emission.
10. The mileage of WRV Petrol is 13 KMPL in city / 17 KMPL on highways while Diesel variant will offer 18 KMPL in city and 25 KMPL on highways.
