1) Velar’s diesel engine will be offered in two variants.
2) More powerful variant will be a 3-litre V6 engine that makes 296 bhp of peak power and 700Nm of peak torque.
3) Lesser powered diesel variant will be a 2-litre 4-cylinder Ingenium unit that makes 177 bhp and 430 Nm of peak power.
4) Both engines comes with a eight speed gearbox and all-wheel-drive.
5) Talking about Petrol Variant, it will only have one petrol engine option for Indian buyers i.e. 2-litre motor Ingenium engine offering 246 bhp and 265 Nm of torque.
6) The new SUV features coupe like roofline with a very wide and muscular stance while still staying true to the Range Rover design philosophy.
7) Velar will sport LED headlamps, large 20-inch wheels and a two tone colour choice.
