Getting to know about Huawei G628

From our sources, it is believed that Huawei is building a 64 bit MediaTek processor powered smartphone and is codenamed as G628. The leak further states that it will be available for only CNY 1,000, i.e. $160 or INR 10,000. The phone may not work on latest version of Android however, for the price tag we believe this phone should bring some lost fortune back for Huawei.

General Observation & Verdict

The phone looks refreshing from the leaks, however we would like to see it getting launched with Lollipop instead of Kitkat as 64 Bit processor are best tuned in for Lollipop. Additionally this can give a huge boost to their sales as we expect Lollipop to stay alive for next few years. Since we do not know the storage & battery details either, it will be difficult to predict real usability of the smartphone. We will have to wait for next couple of weeks to hear more on this phone. Till then do stay tuned with us.
