The all new Honda Amaze 2018 has been finally unveiled with a starting price of ₹ 5.59 lakh, going up to ₹ 8.99 lakh (ex-showroom). 1) The new Honda Amaze comes in an all new platform with a completely new design, features and the option of a diesel CVT as well.
2) The base Petrol Model of Amaze will cost about ₹ 5.59 lakh for E grade, going up to ₹ 7.57 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom) for the range-topping VX grade.

3) Amaze draws power from a 1.2-litre petrol engine that is paired to a 5-speed manual transmission delivering 100hp.
4) Amaze is slightly expensive, where as the Hyundai Xcent is the most aggressively priced subcompact sedan across most trims.
5) Honda Amaze diesel will use existing 1.5-litre i-DTEC motor, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission delivering 80hp and it's base diesel E trim is priced at ₹ 6.69 lakh, while the top-spec VX MT diesel is priced at ₹ 8.67 lakh.
6) Honda Amaze is offered with an optional CVT paired with the petrol engine and will compete with likes of Maruti Suzuki Dzire AMT and Ford Aspire AT.
7) In terms of design, the Amaze borrows styling cues from its elder siblings like the City and the Accord, particularly the grille and face.
