Auto Expo 2023 - India's flagship motor show kicked off today with Suzuki Motors unveiling of concept electric SUV 'eVX'. With this concept, Maruti Suzuki is planning to take over domestic players like Tata & Mahindra in the coming years.

Know 10 Key Things about Maruti Suzuki eVX:
1. This new electric offering, the first from Suzuki is a mid-size electric SUV concept. It will be fuelled by a 60kWh battery pack offering up to 550 km of driving range on a single charge.
2. Slated to be launched only by 2025, this SUV has been designed to keep global warming a priority.

3. Suzuki Motor Corp is taking a range of global measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions generated from their business, especially CO2.
4. Suzuki will invest Rs 10,000 crore in the production of BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) and their batteries.
5. Their existing range of eco-friendly products such as the WagonR Flex Fuel prototype, Brezza S-CNG, and Grand Vitara Intelligent Electric Hybrid also are some new products in the pipeline.

7. Being termed as an 'Emotional Versatile Cruiser' - Concept eVX futuristic SUV design elements with an upright posture and commanding high-seating are some of its highlights.

9. The Concept eVX sports a stock EV design with no big grille openings. It gets a neat front-end design which without having too many sharp lines looks aggressive.
10. It also boasts futuristic-looking LED headlamps coupled with four small LED DRLs forming a V-shape element adding to the ultra-modern design of the concept. There are two small LED DRLs on the lower bumper as well.
